A pioneer in the concept of school skiing trip, Praz-sur-Arly is a charming little village of 1,228 inhabitants – called les Pralins and les Pralines – particularly suited to a family clientele, with all the local services and shops in the centre of the village.
Praz-sur-Arly also boasts a strong local culture and a land rich with heritage and gastronomy. Six cheese appellations are produced, four of which benefit from the registered designation of origin (beaufort, reblochon, abondance and chevrotin) and two from the protected geographical indication (tomme and emmental de Savoie).
